Joie, I just want you to know that you were crucial to making my first two years of college worth remembering. When I almost lost the love of my life sophomore year, you stepped-in as someone to talk to and were so compassionate and understanding. You are a beautiful soul and someone I’m happy to know is around to have the effect on all the others you encounter. Since I heard about all of this shit with the chicken company, I have been praying for your situation with said company and I hope now that you’re not there anymore you can work for a company that respects who God has made you to be. Honestly, I believe you have an opportunity here to be completely genuine whereas at the little college and the large fast food chain, you had to hide. I’ll keep my ears open for job opps and send any your way that I hear about. you mainly looking in Motown? If you’re ever in Knoxville, let’s get a drink or some coffee or whatever…it’s been too long.

God made you exactly how you are and that is a FACT. Any religion that tells you differently is not one built around God or Jesus. He only made one you, so to run from that or try to hide that would be a very tragic thing. I happen to quite like Joie and enjoy the times and the conversations I’ve had with you.
